Cathy Imburgia


Cathy's work history spans more than two decades in corporate, nonprofit and government communications. She has extensive experience delivering cost-effective planning and production services to meet strategic business communication and public awareness initiatives.

Cathy has held the position of president of Creative Communications since establishing the full-service marketing and employee communications firm in 1993. Through Cathy's leadership and expertise, Creative Communications is an award-winning certified Women Business Enterprise.

Prior to establishing Creative Communications, Cathy was employed as a manager and communications specialist with Westinghouse Electric Corporation, The Boeing Company and Hewlett-Packard Company. She is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University where she holds a B.A. in Journalism.

Linda Lewis

Linda brings her 30 years of industry and corporate leadership experience. As a Senior Executive at Accenture, Linda was responsible for creating and leading an organization of 400 people implementing IT projects and delivering outsourcing to a multitude of clients. In this role, she was responsible for strategic planning, marketing, budget and finances, HR related functions including employee retention, roles & responsibilities and client delivery. Her experiences have helped create a practical, results-oriented approach to communication and change. Linda holds a B.A. and M. Ed. from University of Delaware.

Roy Roper

Roy's recent consulting work has focused on performance improvement and organizational change at AstraZeneca, Pfizer, GlaxoSmithKline, Shire and Valera Pharmaceuticals (now part of Endo Pharmaceuticals). He is an accomplished executive and consultant with a strong record of successes implementing functional turnarounds, exceeding revenue goals, increasing profitability, and improving operating efficiency in Managed Care and Pharmaceutical organizations.

His work history includes employment at United HealthCare where he held a number of leadership positions including Regional VP in the Strategic Services Group, and AVP of Account Management for United Behavioral Health (subsidiary of United HealthCare). Roy is a graduate of American University where he holds a M.S. in Organizational Development. He is a member of the NTL Institute for Applied Behavioral Science, International Society for Performance Improvement, an Adjunct Faculty Member at Wilmington University, and an Advisory Board Member for the University of Delaware, Masters in Organizational Effectiveness, Development and Change (OEDC) Program.

Kathleen Schulz

Kathleen Schulz is a performance improvement consultant focusing on guiding and communicating change. She recently spearheaded a new way for the American Chemical Society to develop volunteer leaders.

Kathleen has chemistry degrees (PhD, University of Missouri; BS, Eastern New Mexico University), additional training and certifications from the American Society of Training and Development, NTL Institute, Sundance Consulting, Columbia University, Stanford, University of Chicago, and University of Pennsylvania (Wharton School).

Her experience ranges from technical sales, marketing and management to internal consulting for organizations including Hewlett-Packard, Rockwell International, Midwest Research Institute, and Sandia National Laboratories.

Alan Singles

Alan has 25 years of experience in graphic and web design, at senior and managerial levels. He has worked within the health care, legal and corporate industries as well as non-profit organizations. His knowledge of design and production cover the full spectrum of services that are required to complete all types of projects in the graphics field. These projects include identity/branding, email marketing, web design, print design and advertising.

Alan has been associated with Creative Communications for more than 10 years where he has designed various web-based and print-based projects for the firm. Prior to his affiliation with Creative Communications, he was a Senior Designer at one of the region's largest health care organizations, responsible for working in both the corporate and university entities. Alan is a 1984 graduate of the Art Institute of Philadelphia with a degree in Advertising and Design.

Betsy Wheeler

Betsy complement's Creative Communications creative and production expertise with a specialty in health and social services. She holds a masters degree in Business Administration, an undergraduate degree in Management and has worked in regional health systems for the past 20 years. This experience has included private medical practice management, hospital administration, trade association management, and serving as a liaison between federal and state programs serving the indigent.

An expert in the field of grant writing and management, Betsy has written over $30 million of federal, private, and local grants for state specific initiatives since 1997, and over $3 million in proceeds for health systems regionally since 2001.

Andy Vavra

Andy has been affiliated with Creative Communications since early 2004 and is a 15-year veteran of Hewlett-Packard Company and Agilent Technologies, Inc. where he held leadership positions in marketing and employee communications, demand generation, CRM strategy and implementation, and organizational transformation.

He holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Communications and has completed additional in marketing, communications and organizational development.
